    Our dream is that you will have photos that capture the emotions and sweet memories  in each and every  important moment of your life — That you will look at your wedding photos with your children and grandchildren and tell them the story of your love and your wedding day. We believe that there is no such thing as a perfect photo, but there is such thing as capturing the perfect representation of your love. The way his eyes twinkle when he sees his bride walking up the aisle, the way her eyes tear up when she sees him for the first time on their day.  The laughter and tears when they leave the ceremony knowing they’ve just GOTTEN MARRIED. Those moments are some of the most precious in life, and we aim to capture the feel of those moments.

Each and every person has different desires for their day and for their photos. While we have a certain style to our shooting and editing, our goal is capture your day exactly how it is and simply enhance the beauty. We are known as an intimate & romantic wedding photographer because we try to focus on your love story.

    Most frequent questions and answers

    How many hours do I need?

    This is completely dependent on what types of photos you feel drawn toward. If you want to have extensive family photos, photos of hair and makeup being done, photos of the send off, and want to change locations for your bridal/couples photos you are going to want to have more hours than otherwise. 10 hours is typically a good amount of time to capture all of these moments on a quick or regular wedding day. If you are looking to have this coverage for a longer wedding day, Raelen Photography does allow you to add up to 2 additional hours through add-ons.

    How many photos will I receive?

    If everything goes according to plan, you have many things going on, lots of smiling people, and beautiful details, I generally deliver around 100 photos per hour of shooting.

    How long does it take to get my photos back after the wedding?

    Slow season typical turn around time is 1-2 weeks. In busy season where I have weddings every weekend, it can be 3-5 weeks. Life does happen and sometimes it can take a bit longer, but not usually.

    Will you do a destination wedding?

    Absolutely! I am extremely passionate about travel, and For destination weddings (considered 350 miles or more away)  I offer up to 30% off my collection pricing in order to balance the travel costs.  Client must pay for 2 round trip plane tickets, plus 2-4 days of hotel stay and meals (for main and associate shooter)

    What if my ceremony is in a different language?

    We communicate extensively ahead of time about the order of events and estimated timeline of your ceremony in the event of a language barrier in order to make sure we stay on track and capture each moment to our best ability.

    What if I am not photogenic?

    The biggest thing to remember is being anxious or nervous in front of the camera is not the same thing as being non-photogenic. I will guide you through beautiful actions and poses to make you look your best, and also will remind you to smile and have good posture!I want you to feel beautiful!

    What if we go over our collection time?

    if due to poor communication or planning I must stay longer than the hours paid for to capture your desired coverage, or if I am asked directly to stay later I will send an invoice that must be paid within 1 week. Additional time is billed at a rate of $450/hr, and any additional time after 15 minutes will be broken down in accordance to that price.
